Refund Policy

Our commitment: We want you to be satisfied with stoklyst. We offer a 30-day free trial so you can evaluate the Service fully before being charged — and we stand behind our billing with a fair refund process.

1. Free Trial

New subscribers on the Essential and Professional plans receive a 30-day free trial. During the trial:

  • No credit card is required to start.
  • You will not be charged anything.
  • You have full access to all features included in the selected plan.

At the end of the 30-day trial, you may enter your payment details to subscribe. If you do not subscribe, your account will be downgraded automatically — you will not be charged.

Annual plans
Pro-rated refund
Available within 14 days of the charge date.
Monthly plans
Cancel anytime
No refund for current period; access continues until period ends.

2. Annual Plans

If you are on an annual billing plan and wish to cancel, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription provided your request is made within 14 days of the most recent annual charge.

Pro-rated refunds are calculated based on the number of complete months remaining in your annual billing cycle at the time your cancellation request is approved.

After the 14-day window has passed, no refund will be issued for the current annual period, though you may cancel to prevent future renewal charges.

3. Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel a monthly plan:

  • No refund is issued for the current billing period already paid.
  • Your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Your subscription will not renew at the next billing date.

4. Exceptions — Always Refunded

Regardless of the above, we will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: if your account was charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
  • Billing errors: if you were charged the wrong amount or charged for a plan you did not subscribe to.
  • Technical failure: if the Service was wholly unavailable for a sustained period that significantly impaired your ability to use it, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to billing@stoklyst.com with:

  1. The email address associated with your stoklyst account.
  2. The date and amount of the charge in question.
  3. The reason for your refund request.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed through Paddle (our merchant of record) back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear.

6. Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paddle acts as the merchant of record for all stoklyst transactions. This means that Paddle processes all payments, issues invoices, and handles refunds on our behalf. All charges from stoklyst will appear on your statement under Paddle's name.

By subscribing, you acknowledge that your payment relationship is with Paddle, subject to Paddle's own terms of service. Refunds are processed by Paddle upon our approval and may be governed in part by Paddle's policies.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial months on monthly plans (you retain access until the period ends).
  • Annual plan charges older than 14 days, except in the case of billing errors or duplicate charges.
  • Add-on user licences for periods already consumed.

8. Cancellation

Cancelling your subscription prevents future charges but does not delete your account or data immediately. Your data is retained according to our Privacy Policy. You may reactivate your subscription at any time.
